NVIDIA’s invention of the GPU in 1999 sparked the growth of the PC gaming market, redefined modern computer graphics, and revolutionized parallel computing. More recently, GPU deep learning ignited modern AI – the next era of computing – with the GPU acting as the brain of computers, robots, and self-driving cars that can perceive and understand the world. Today, NVIDIA is increasingly known as Òthe AI computing company. Our people and our culture are dedicated to doing our best work and making a lasting impact on the world by achieving what no company has achieved before. I worked at NVIDIA for 10 years. I was lucky as most of the teams to have the flexibility for working from home. However, there still be some departments that require to be in the office to get the jobs done with flexible working hours. It really depends on the department or manager that you work for.
I believe that NVIDIA provides equal opportunity and equal pay for male and female employees. There’s no gender difference that you can drive your own career advancement but on the other hand the management will expect that you set up the job scope your own and discuss with the manager for approval. Therefore, work-life balance is depend upon how you plan your job scope.
However, although NVIDIA has grown its employees to over 10,000 people, it still act like a start up company. Therefore, there’s no systematic ways for career advancement and you have to look for opportunities your own.

My contract was very short but I liked the culture and environment of the company. I did not notice any distinction between male and female employees. A male employee and I were hired for the same project and we were paid the same. I also like the flexibility that nVIDIA provided to work from home.

Established in 1993, NVIDIA has recently been recognized for its advancement in tech because it has spent years developing the support structure for future technologies. It’s exciting to work for a company on the cutting-edge of technology. NVIDIA has flexible hours, great benefits including incredible employee stock options.

I am at a regional office and we have a nicely diversified group. The ratio of men to women is skewed more toward men, but women are treated fairly and offered equal opportunities. The work atmosphere is great and I’ve grown to regard my co-workers as family. My complaint is that there is not much room for me advance and I am often not considered for any new opportunities. This is not due to me being a woman, there are just not that many opportunities available for my skill set as I am an artist, not a programmer.

Several reviews on this site indicate that NVIDIA allows people to work from home. My position does not allow me to work from home due to protected non-disclosure projects.

NVIDIA is an amazing company to work for and I feel very blessed to be a part of this company.

I have worked at NVIDIA for over 16 years. Over the years, the project schedules have been pretty intense, though for me it has not been constant. If the schedule calls for it, the flexibility of being able to work at home is a big plus. I believe the pay is fair, and if advancement is wanted, it can be achieved by taking on more responsibility.

I’ve been in NVidia for more than 10 years. Pay wise, I don’t think there is any inequality between two genders. However, I feel in some groups, there are still bias towards women especially in senior management positions. In terms family friendly, although the overall workload is heavy, but NVidia does allow the flexible work hours.
